Iowa man seriously injured in MO wreck


EAGLEVILLE, Mo. - A wreck in Harrison County left a Newton, Iowa man in serious condition.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Craynes McGinley was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta on I-35, five miles north of Eagleville.

At 2 p.m. Tuesday, he crossed the median and struck a 2019 Ford F-550 occupied by Randy Allen of Oklahoma City and Joshua Thompson of Perry, Oklahoma.

The Volkswagen stayed in traffic after the collision, while the Ford traveled off road and overturned several times.

McGinley was taken to Decatur County Hospital with serious injuries, Allen and Thompson were sent to Harrison County Community Hospital for minor injuries. McGinley and Allen were wearing seatbelts, Thompson was not.
